Check Medical Marijuana Card Status
Florida medical marijuana treatment patients have the ability to check the status of their doctor recommendations and their Florida marijuana card online at the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry. Detailed information on how to get medical marijuana card online status is displayed below for the actual state issued medical card and the doctor recommendations. Patients are able to speak with a live person at the Medical Marijuana Use Registry by calling 800-808-9580 or via email at [email protected]. Florida Medical Marijuana Card Status
Patients can log into their account at the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry using the email and password they created in their state profile at the time of their initial appointment. If a patient does not remember their password, they can select the “Forgot Password” option and a reset password link will be sent to the email the patient has on file with the state of Florida. If a patient does not remember the email they have on file with the state of Florida they will be required to call the Medical Marijuana Use Registry at 800-808-9580.
There are two options for a patient to get medical marijuana card online status with the state of Florida.
- After successfully logging into the Medical Marijuana Use Registry website a patient will select the “Your Card” option in the menu bar of the website. Patients will be able to view the status of their marijuana card online, the expiration date of the Florida medical card, and when the patient is eligible to begin their renewal with the state of Florida, which is the annual fee of $75.00. Under this information the patient will be able to view what applications have been previously submitted to the state of Florida and the status of those applications.
- Once a patient has logged into the Medical Marijuana Use Registry they will select the “Your Profile” option on the menu bar. On the profile page of the Medical Marijuana Use Registry the patient can view the medical marijuana card online status, if there is a green check mark at the top of the page above the profile details this means the card is valid. To the right of the green check mark patients can view how long the card is valid for and when they can begin the renewal process. If the image is blank on the profile page and there is a red X mark on the top of the page above the profile details this means the card is not valid.
Marijuana Doctor Recommendations Status
After a patient has successfully logged into the Medical Marijuana Use Registry website they will select the “Your Profile” option on the menu bar. Once a patient is on the “Your Profile” page they will scroll down below the profile details and can view an “Orders” section. The orders are a patient’s active recommendations and previous recommendations with the state of Florida. Medical marijuana treatment patients will be able to view the order status, order type, start date, and end day for each specific delivery route. Typically a patient will see options for Medical Marijuana, Low-THC Cannabis, and Smoking Marijuana. Patients are able to see the status of these orders as they will appear as, open, scheduled, completed, or expired. An open order allows the medical marijuana treatment patient to purchase products at Florida dispensaries. Scheduled orders are for future orders to be placed upon the completion of an existing open order. Completed orders are when the patient has used all of the allowance for a specific delivery route. Expired orders are past recommendations that are no longer active with the state of Florida. If a patient logs into the Medical Marijuana Use Registry and views only expired orders that patient will need to have a re-evaluation appointment with their marijuana doctor. The maximum amount of time any marijuana doctor in the state of Florida can provide a recommendation for the use of medical marijuana is 210 days, 7 months.
